Update from the Sri Lanka Mission Trip
Last week I returned from Sri Lanka after being there for 10 days on a mission trip.
During my stay there, I had several services and meetings in different churches and areas.
The first meeting was in Bethlehem church in Shilaw, where the church has more than thousand members. Despite the differences in climate, language and skin color, God’s presence was very unique like usual.
The second visit was to another campus of the Bethlehem church in another area, and this meeting was so wonderfull.
The third stop was again in the Bethlehem church but this time, it was for a bible study meeting or School of servants. After I finished my teaching, the Holy Spirit came, invaded and filled some of the servants of the school.
Later, we continued to visit the rest of the Bethlehem church campuses in different areas of Sri Lanka. Also I visited many houses and declared the ownership of Jesus Christ on them.
In the same time, I was announcing for the Friday salvation and healing meeting, and it was like that. The church was full inside out and specially people from ethnic backgrounds. After preaching the word of salvation, more than 90% meaning more than 1000 people came forward asking for prayer. Holy Spirit was healing and delivering people from satan’s bondage and filling them with His spirit. Saturday, I enjoyed my time preaching during the youth meeting, where the youth of the Bethlehem church also had prepared a program.
The end of my trip was on the Palm Sunday, and we had a very special meeting and the people were responding to the word that God gave me to preach .
The Sri Lanka trip was a result of pastoring the Sri Lankan Church of Christ in Lebanon for a year and a half, and for sure this trip won’t be my last! I am full of confidence and faith that what I sowed in the hearts of this good people will bring a mighty harvest and will glorify Jesus Christ and advance His kingdom. Amen

عدتُ في الأسبوع الماضي من سريلنكا بعد قيامي بإرسالية لمدة عشرة أيام. أثناء هذه الفترة قمتُ بعدة خدمات في كنائس مختلفة وفي مناطق مختلفة.
كانت البداية في كنيسة « بيت لحم » في منطقة « شيلاو» التي يصل عدد أعضائها إلى أكثر من ألف عضو.
ورغم إختلاف المناخ ولون البشرة واللغة إلى أن حضور الرب كان مميزاً جداً كالعادة. محطتي الثانية كانت زيارة إحدى فروع كنيسة « بيت لحم » في منطقة أخرى، وكان هذا الإجتماع من أقوى الإجتماعات التي قمتُ بها أثناء رحلتي.
المحطة الثالثة كانت مجدداً في كنيسة « بيت لحم » لكن هذه المرة في إجتماع تعليم الكتاب المقدس أو مدرسة الخدمة وما أن إنتهيتُ من التعليم حتى قام الروح القدس بإجتياح مفاجئ لبعض أعضاء خدام الكنيسة.
بعدها تابعتُ خدمتي في باقي فروع كنيسة « بيت لحم » في مناطق مختلفة من سريلنكا. كما قمتُ بزيارة منازل عديدة معلناً مُلك الرب يسوع فيها.
في هذه الأثناء كان فريق كنيسة « بيت لحم » يقوم بالإعلان عن إجتماع نهار الجمعة الخلاصي والشفائي، وبالفعل كانت الكنيسة ممتلئة من الداخل والخارج من خلفيات مختلفة ، وبعد إلقائي لكلمة الله الخلاصية المؤثرة جداً تقدم أكثر من 90% من الأشخاص الذي تجاوز عددهم الألف شخص إلى الأمام طالبين الصلاة من أجلهم، فكان الروح القدس يشفي ويحرر من قيود إبليس ويملأ أشخاصا.
إجتماع الشبيبة نهار السبت كان ممتعاً جداً تخلله مشاركة لي بالإضافة إلى برامج قام بتحضيرها شبيبة كنيسة « بيت لحم ».
نهاية الرحلة كانت نهار الأحد في إحتفال أحد الشعانين، وكان هذا الإجتماع مميزاً جداً, وكان جميع الحاضرين يستقبلون كلمة الرب.
إرسالية سيرلنكا هي تتمّة لما قد بدأته منذ حوالي السنة برعايتي لكنيسة المسيح السيرلنكية في لبنان وطبعاً لن تكون النهاية. وأنا لي كامل الثقة والإيمان بأن ما زرعته في قلوب هذا الشعب الطيّب والمميز سوف يُحصد لمجد الرب يسوع وتقدم ملكوته. آمين.
